I. The time when I couldn't distinguish AI from humans As a professor of philosophy, I was brought to a room to question two boxes to identify which one is human and which is AI. Whomever I selected as being not human would be demolished. It has been difficult to find authentic and accurate information about Taiwanese culture in America. Different regions of Taiwan have their own distinct culture, and it's not as easy to get a broad overview of Taiwanese culture in America.The Taiwanese Diaspora is an important part of the Taiwanese community, but most people don't have easy access to authentic and accurate information about Taiwanese culture in America. This is a series of vignettes showcasing the diversity of Taiwanese culture. This story revolves around two sisters, who are in their 30s and live in Taipei, who happen to be distant for various reasons. They come together for the traditional holidays and find that they are both increasingly uncomfortable with what Taiwanese culture has become. The elder sister is a successful lawyer and has always strived to make it into prestigious schools and work at prestigious firms. The younger sister is an artist who values making herself happy as opposed to success or other people's opinions of her art. The elder sister always had been pushed to be more 'Taiwanese', while the younger sister had been more influenced by foreign cultures - hence, the two sisters having different perspectives on Taiwanese culture. As the elder sister reflects on her past, she realizes that her father was pushing her to be more Taiwanese than she actually wanted to be - so she only speaks to him in English because she doesn't want him
